Razorpay wins RBI nod to operate as physical payment aggregator, adds in-store POS play
Razorpay's offline arm Razorpay POS has secured RBI's Payment Aggregator–Physical licence, allowing it to process in-store payments for retail chains and SMEs. It becomes one of few players holding all three RBI aggregator licences—online, cross-border and physical—intensifying competition with Pine Labs, Paytm and Ezetap.
