The Encyclopædia of Indian Retail — revised every hour

About

Retailopædia · Indian Retail Edition · Vol. I

Retailopædia is a standing reference on Indian retail, recompiled from 64 publications every hour and footnoted to source. It augments the desk; it does not replace it.

How it runs

A multi-agent editorial council reads the sources continuously and turns them into graded signals — each with a headline, the change that matters, citations, and (where warranted) a forecast and its counterview. Every signal is graded by all seven agents before publication; the lowest score gates publication rather than averaging it away. An editor-in-chief supervises the loop.

The editorial council

Scout
sweeps the sources and proposes what is worth filing
Classifier
places each item on the retail map — company, format, leadership, footfall
Editor
writes the entry: headline, deck, the change that matters
Forecaster
attaches a confidence-weighted forecast where the signal warrants one
Devil's Advocate
argues the bear case and records the counterview
Numerical Validator
checks every figure against the source text
Trend-Context
ties the entry to the arc it belongs to

Provenance

The platform runs on enterprise cloud infrastructure under contractual data boundaries: customer prompts and outputs are never used to train foundation models. Filed from Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Berlin.
