UPI goes live in Cambodia, unlocking QR payments at 4.5M merchants for Indian travellers
NPCI International and the National Bank of Cambodia activated a UPI-KHQR interlink on June 2, letting Indian travellers scan Cambodian QR codes via their UPI apps across 4.5 million merchants. Phase two will reciprocate, enabling Cambodian visitors to pay Indian merchants on UPI rails.
