Myntra launches in Singapore, testing diaspora-led global growth
Myntra Global launched in Singapore on May 19, targeting the city-state’s Indian diaspora with Indian fashion, beauty and home brands. The company is aiming to reach 12–15% of Singapore’s Indian consumer base while keeping India—where e-fashion penetration remains below 15%—as its central growth market.
Myntra launched Myntra Global in Singapore to serve the Indian diaspora, using Indian fashion, beauty and home brands. CEO Nandita Sinha said India remains core, with low e-fashion penetration and a goal of serving more than 100 million customers.
Why this matters
The move follows Myntra’s signals of a global growth push with India at its core and its planned zero-commission scale-up for emerging D2C brands; a related June signal also revisited the Singapore launch.
Retail-company signals are accelerating, up 1,110,900% QoQ.
