India’s value-added coffee exports climbed 46.58% to $686 million over three years. The Coffee Board is supporting processing, roasting, grinding and retail-packaging capacity, while total coffee production reached 3.73 lakh tonnes in 2025-26.

Why this matters

The export mix shift follows a recent outlook that India's 2026-27 coffee output may fall 4% to 6.14 million bags as weather reduces Arabica yields, increasing the relevance of higher-value processing and retail formats.

Retail-brand signals are accelerating, up 351300% QoQ.
