Godrej commits ₹350 cr to Khalapur forklift plant, chasing quick-commerce warehouse boom
Godrej Enterprises is doubling down on material handling, building a Khalapur facility with 15,000-unit initial capacity (scaling to 30,000) to supply forklifts and warehouse gear to Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Flipkart and Amazon. Goal: lift the business from ₹1,000 cr to ₹1,500-2,000 cr in two years, with 80% electric.
