Centre to propose 5-year PMFME extension with richer subsidies, ODOP push and GeM onboarding

Food processing ministry will seek extension of the Rs 10,000 crore PMFME scheme beyond Sept 2026, with higher 35% credit-linked subsidy ceilings, women and hilly-region preference, and GeM listings. Scheme has formalised 65,000 units and disbursed Rs 5,800 crore across 196,270 enterprises.
