MoFPI will seek Cabinet nod to continue the PMFME micro-enterprise scheme past September 2026, with revised guidelines lifting the ₹10 lakh credit-linked subsidy ceiling. Scheme has backed 1.96 lakh enterprises, modernised 65,000 units, and reached 4 lakh SHG members, with 40% women beneficiaries.
