April auto retail roars back: Hero +84.5%, Maruti +35.3%, Royal Enfield +37%
Mass mobility rebounded sharply in April FY27. Hero MotoCorp led commuter motorcycle recovery with domestic sales up 84.5% to 5.32L units, Maruti Suzuki added ~49,000 PVs (+35.3% to 1.87L), and the scooter industry grew 26.2% to 6.92L. Royal Enfield (+37%), Yamaha (+45.2%) and Ather (+67.1%) posted strong gains; Bajaj led exports.
