Bata India Q4 profit collapses 95% to ₹2.2 cr as VRS, forex hit ₹50 cr

Bata India's Q4FY26 net profit crashed 95.2% YoY to ₹2.2 cr, dragged by a ₹28 cr VRS charge at its Hosur plant and a ₹22.4 cr forex loss. Revenue rose 4.9% to ₹827.6 cr, with premium brands Hush Puppies and Power outpacing the core. Inventory fell 13%, ad spends went 1.5x, and the board declared a ₹9/share dividend even as the stock has shed 45% YoY.
