Zepto delays IPO by 2–3 quarters as pre-IPO valuation expectations reset
The quick-commerce company is seeking about Rs 1,000 crore in pre-IPO funding at a $4–4.5 billion valuation after domestic investors reportedly indicated a $3–3.5 billion range, versus Zepto’s last $7 billion valuation.
Zepto has postponed its planned IPO by two to three quarters after domestic investors indicated a sharply lower valuation. The quick-commerce firm is seeking about Rs 1,000 crore in pre-IPO funding at a $4-4.5 billion valuation and may reduce its fresh issue size.
Why this matters
The delay follows reports that Zepto aims to revive its IPO between February and May 2027 and is seeking a ₹1,000 crore pre-IPO round. It also comes after a leadership change at Zepto subsidiary Relish, where Vinay Dhanani took oversight.
