VinFast taps GreenSM fleet to build early India EV sales momentum

VinFast is using affiliate GreenSM’s Delhi-NCR EV cab fleet to support early India volumes, with captive sales contributing about 27% of FY27 deliveries. The Vietnamese automaker, now fifth in India EV sales, is scaling local production and pursuing a $2 billion India investment plan.
Why this matters
The fleet contribution follows VinFast opening its largest India showroom in Chennai and planning 35 outlets across 27 cities. VinFast has also targeted 75 showrooms and 230 workshops despite a delayed EV inflection point.
