Uber launched a suite of new safety features for riders and drivers across India, including encrypted in-cab video recording, ambulance assistance via Dial 4242, distracted-driving restrictions and customisable trip PINs. The platform is partnering with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on safety awareness.
