Tata Motors overtakes Mahindra to reclaim No. 2 spot in India's PV market
India's passenger vehicle market hit a record Q1 with 25.9% YoY growth to 12.7 lakh units. Tata Motors reclaimed second place with 1.9 lakh units, edging past Mahindra's 1.7 lakh, driven by Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier and Safari demand. Maruti led with 5.3 lakh units; Hyundai fourth at 1.4 lakh.
