Startup backers cash out Rs 97,252 crore as IPOs become primary VC/PE exit route

Early investors in listed consumer and retail-tech companies including Nykaa, Swiggy, Lenskart and Zomato/Eternal have realised nearly Rs 97,252 crore since 2021—Rs 43,595 crore via OFS and Rs 53,657 crore through bulk/block deals across 34 IPOs. SoftBank sold Rs 2,873 crore in Lenskart; Temasek Rs 1,633 crore in PB Fintech.
