India Slashes Car Import Duty to 10% Under UK FTA, but Quota Caps Limit Market Shift

India will phase tariffs on UK-built cars from ~100% to 10% over 15 years via a tariff-rate quota starting July 15, shielding domestic OEMs while opening a controlled channel for JLR, Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
