Residency Hotels to deploy Rs 600 cr on three luxury properties across South India
The Chennai-based group plans 450-500 new keys over three years in Tier I-III markets, following a Rs 450 crore Madurai launch. A Marriott-managed Maldives resort with 90-100 villas is also under development, signalling aggressive premium expansion beyond core Tamil Nadu strongholds.
The Residency Hotels will invest Rs 500-600 crore over three years to develop three luxury hotels across Tier I-III South Indian cities, adding 450-500 rooms. It recently opened a Rs 450 crore Madurai property and is building a Marriott-managed Maldives resort.
