Recykal invested in biomass-fuel producer Walbha, linking its enterprise network to verified briquettes and pellets for industrial boilers. The partnership digitises biomass sourcing, supports 21,100+ farmers, and backs Walbha’s planned expansion from North and Central India into southern markets.

Why this matters

The Walbha deal builds on Recykal’s earlier Rs 10 crore investment in Walbha Industries to enter biomass fuel, while its $23m bridge round targeted Deposit Return Systems across India, the UK and Europe.
