PhonePe clarifies inactive wallet fees hit only wallet balances, not linked bank or UPI accounts

PhonePe said quarterly inactivity charges of up to Rs 100 apply solely to dormant wallet balances after 12 months of inactivity. Linked bank accounts and UPI flows are unaffected. Users will receive a 15-day notice before any deduction, and balances will not be pushed negative.
