OMCs’ ethanol procurement reaches Rs 1.72 lakh crore across three supply years
Indian Oil, BPCL and HPCL have collectively spent over Rs 1.72 lakh crore on ethanol procurement since ESY 2023-24. In the current supply year through June, they bought 705.43 crore litres worth Rs 49,577 crore, underscoring the scale of India’s petrol-blending supply chain.
