Nilekani's Fundamentum closes second fund at $227M, beating $200M target

Growth-stage VC Fundamentum Partnership has raised $227 million for its second fund, more than double its $100 million debut vehicle. The firm, co-founded by Nandan Nilekani, backs Series B/C Indian startups and counts retail names Lenskart, Spinny and Shadowfax in its portfolio — signalling deeper dry powder for late-stage consumer bets.
