MoRTH proposes up to 3-year PUC validity for newer BS-VI private vehicles
India’s road transport ministry has issued a draft proposal to extend Pollution Under Control certificate validity for BS-VI vehicles. Private vehicles up to six years old could receive certificates valid for three years, while commercial vehicles in the same age bracket could get two-year validity, subject to consultation.
