MobiKwik bags RBI offline payment aggregator nod, eyes 10X merchant growth by FY28
Fresh off NBFC approval, MobiKwik secures in-principle RBI clearance for a Payment Aggregator-Physical licence. The Gurugram fintech will push Soundbox and EDC devices into 4.9 million merchants across small business, fuel and organised retail segments to deepen offline payment rails.
MobiKwik received RBI in-principle approval for a Payment Aggregator-Physical licence to scale offline merchant payments. It plans 10X merchant business growth by FY28, targeting small businesses, fuel outlets, and organised retail with Soundbox and EDC deployments.
