Maruti Suzuki cornered a record 40.97% PV share in May, up from 37.87% YoY, as rural demand jumped 30.35% and total industry retails hit 4.02 lakh units (+23.25% YoY). EV penetration crossed 11%, CNG share rose to 23.34%, while Mahindra (12.75%) and Tata (13.80%) trailed. Inventory held at 31-33 days.
