Kashmir rail link rewires Valley commerce: 203 rakes in, apples out, Amazon parcels in 30 hours

The 272-km Kashmir rail link is reshaping Valley supply chains. Indian Railways has run 203 rakes (3,514 wagons) since August, with cement at 76% share, plus inbound Maruti cars, foodgrains and salt, and 278 wagons of apples moving out. Amazon and India Post now offer door-to-door parcels on a 30-hour NCR-Valley loop.
