Indian retailers posted 6% sales growth in June, led by grocery and QSRs: RAI
Retail sales rose 6% year-on-year in June 2026, according to the Retailers Association of India. Food and grocery grew 10%, quick-service restaurants 9% and footwear 8%, while furniture and furnishings rose just 1%. The western region led growth at 8% as retailers prepare for festive demand.
