Indian auto retail roars into FY27: Maruti hits record 2.42L units, Bajaj exports surge 34%

May 2026 print shows broad-based strength across passenger and two-wheeler segments. Maruti Suzuki posted a record 2,42,688 units, Bajaj Auto sold 4,61,257 (+20%) with exports up 34%, M&M grew 20% to 99,636 despite supplier manpower constraints, Hyundai domestic rose 9.1%, and Tata CV climbed 17%.
