India-UK CETA, EU FTA to slash duties on Scotch, EVs, olive oil and luxury goods from 2026

India-UK CETA takes effect 15 July 2026, halving Scotch whisky duty from 150% to 75% and crashing EV tariffs from 110% to 10%. The India-EU FTA, expected late 2026, will cut tariffs on European wine to 30%, olive oil from 45%, plus cosmetics, textiles and chocolates. Phased over 5-10 years across 90% of goods.
