India's IVPA signs MoU with China's CFNA to boost edible oil trade cooperation
The Indian Vegetable oil Producers' Association inked a bilateral cooperation pact with China's CFNA to lift soyabean oil imports and edible oil derivative exports. With India importing ~60% of its edible oil needs and projected imports at 16.5 mt in 2025-26 against 9.6 mt domestic output, the deal touches a core grocery category.
