India June car sales signal demand recovery; Tata PV up 69%, Maruti 19.3%, M&M 37%
June passenger vehicle sales showed broad-based recovery. Tata Motors led with 63,083 units (+69% YoY) and record 14,800 EVs; Q1 PV sales hit 1,82,574 (+46%). Maruti Suzuki posted 200,390 total units (+19.3%), M&M rose 37% to 106,207, while Hyundai's 51,335 was dented by ~13,900 units of supplier-fire production loss.
