Honda India to enter sub-4m SUV segment in 2028, plans India-developed EV this fiscal
Honda Cars India will target the fast-growing sub-4 metre SUV segment by 2028 and launch its first India-developed electric SUV this fiscal year. Six launches are planned to lift plant utilisation from 60-70% at its 1.8 lakh-unit capacity Tapukara facility, as the automaker chases market share in a segment growing 20% annually.
