Haryana mandates CNG/EV-only fleet additions for aggregators and delivery apps in NCR from Jan 2026
Haryana Cabinet has cleared rules requiring all new vehicles onboarded by ride-hailing, delivery and e-commerce platforms in NCR to run on CNG, EV or cleaner fuels from January 1, 2026. The framework also tightens licensing, mandates passenger and driver insurance cover, and proposes EV tax concessions, directly impacting Uber, Ola, Rapido, Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Zepto, Amazon and Flipkart fleet economics.
