EV retail sales hit record 306,220 units in June, penetration tops 12%

India's EV market notched a record 306,220 retail units in June 2026, up 62.7% YoY as overall penetration crossed 12%, per FADA. E-two-wheelers led at 193,735 units, e-3Ws at 77,448 (64.1% penetration), and e-PVs at 31,823 (7.7%). Tata Motors, Mahindra, TVS and Bajaj headed their segments.
