DMart adds record 85 stores in FY26, crosses 500 outlets as analysts back store-led push
Avenue Supermarts added 58 stores in the March quarter alone, taking its network past 500 and its footprint to 20.6M sq ft. Q4 revenue rose 19% to ₹17,205 crore with SSSG of 10.8%. Despite quick-commerce pressure from Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, analysts favor DMart's expansion into low-penetration Tier-2/3 north India markets.
