Commercial LPG cut by ₹192 per cylinder; ATF rises ₹5 a litre
Indian Oil and other oil marketers have cut Delhi’s 19-kg commercial LPG price to ₹2,738, offering cost relief to restaurants and hotels. Aviation turbine fuel rose to ₹115 per litre, while household LPG, petrol and diesel prices were unchanged.
Oil marketers cut commercial LPG prices for a second straight month, easing fuel costs for Indian hotels, restaurants and other food-service operators. ATF rose ₹5 per litre, increasing airline operating costs, while household LPG, petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged.
Why this matters
The price move follows Indian Oil's continued Gulf crude sourcing amid West Asia conflict and its ₹1,141 crore Q1 loss as fuel marketing margins collapsed. The company also recently raised $500 million through RBI's forex swap window.
