Centre opens industry consultations on next phase of food processing PLI
Ministry of Food Processing Industries has begun consultations on PLI 2.0, seeking wider scope, outcome-driven incentives, sunrise categories and stronger Indian food brands. Phase one committed Rs 7,722 crore, drew Rs 9,207 crore in investment across 212 units, and created 3.35 lakh jobs.
