Blinkit to nearly double dark store count to 3,000 by March 2027
Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa confirmed a target of 3,000 dark stores by March 2027, up from 1,816 in Q2FY26 and 791 a year ago. The company added 272 stores last quarter and aims for 2,100 by December 2025 as quick commerce competition with Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Flipkart and Amazon intensifies.
Blinkit plans to nearly double its dark store network to 3,000 by March 2027, CEO Albinder Dhindsa said. It operated 1,816 stores in Q2FY26 and targets 2,100 by December 2025, amid intensifying quick commerce competition.
