Bikaji’s Q1 FY27 revenue rose 12.5%, but profit stayed flat as costs squeezed margins
Bikaji Foods International reported ₹734.3 crore in Q1 FY27 revenue and ₹60.1 crore in PAT. Higher distribution, employee and operating expenses offset sales growth, pulling EBITDA margin down 130 basis points to 13.5%.
Bikaji posted 12.5% revenue growth in Q1 FY27, driven by ethnic and western snacks, but PAT was nearly flat as distribution, employee and other operating costs compressed EBITDA margin. Management will continue investing in capacity, distribution and product development.
Why this matters
After Q4 FY26 revenue rose 18% and profit jumped 40% on ethnic snacks demand, Bikaji’s Q1 FY27 results show sales growth continuing but margin pressure intensifying as expenses weigh on profitability.
