Ather Energy launches ₹1,300 crore QIP at ₹1,170 floor, adds ₹1,200 crore preferential raise

EV two-wheeler maker Ather Energy opened a ₹1,300 crore QIP at a ₹1,169.70 floor price, with an indicative range of ₹1,200-₹1,220 implying ~2.76% dilution. A separate ₹1,200 crore preferential issue draws ₹960 crore from Hero MotoCorp (lifting its stake to 30.68%) and ₹200 crore from the India-Japan Fund. Proceeds target debt repayment, R&D and marketing. Shares rose 7.90% to ₹1,298.
