Air India upgrades Delhi–Toronto to daily Boeing 787-9 service, drops Vienna stop
From August 1, Air India will operate daily Delhi–Toronto flights with a Boeing 787-9, replacing five weekly services and eliminating the Vienna fuel stop. The upgrade introduces a three-class cabin, including Premium Economy, and reduces journey time to about 17 hours.

Why this matters
The Toronto expansion follows Air India’s planned JFK move to Terminal 6 with a Maharaja Lounge by 2028, while its Tel Aviv–Delhi flight suspension remains extended through September.
