Adani Energy Solutions’ ₹3,500 crore QIP was subscribed three times, supporting capex, debt repayment and acquisitions. The Adani group company is also acquiring smart-metering venture IntelliSmart for ₹3,050 crore, strengthening its India utility-infrastructure platform.
Why this matters
The strong QIP response follows Adani Energy Solutions’ ₹3,500 crore QIP launch, with approval to raise up to ₹10,000 crore, and comes as Maharashtra accounts for over half of its ₹29,519 crore smart-meter pipeline.
